The U.S.S. Meridith laid down on January 27th, 1945 and launched June 28th, 1945. This all wood ship model was crafted by a sailor, probably in the ships shop, while on the ocean on duty. This folk art type model has great detail and was nicely crafted. A truly incredible piece of art. Measures 22" long x 3 1/2" wide x 8" high.
