The History Hunter
I've often said that I think I was born in the wrong century. Though I hated history in school, as I got older I began to not only appreciate it, but became absorbed in it. History can be experienced simply by holding an object from the past in your hand. By learning about its past, one can imagine what it was like when the item was used. It is possible to touch the past by research and study. Its the closest we can come to time travel.
I started my business because of my intense interest in all things history. In my search for these treasures, I've dug through barns, scoured musty basements, endured 100 degree attics, and took shovel in hand to dig up long buried artifacts. I've enjoyed every minute of it. In my journeys I've meet some incredible people. Each of those people had their own unique story. From a 90 year old gentleman who served in WW2 to a young couple who collected death related memorabilia, they were all interesting in their own way. My business is built around folks like that.
As I continue my "treasure hunt", I hope you will follow me on my journey to bring the past alive through Antiques and Collectibles.
